BooksFly2U

PPAS

The Selangor Public Library Corporation (PPAS) has started the BooksFly2U initiative which is online book lending and delivery of library loan books to borrowers' home addresses since the Recovery Movement Control Order came into force. Through this initiative, members of Pustaka Raja Tun Uda, Shah Alam and members of 103 other libraries under the management of PPAS can make book loan reservations by phone and use the e-hailing service to have the loan books sent to their respective addresses.

PPAS wishes the public to be able to access the library facilities and at the same time comply with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) set. In addition to digital reading materials that can be accessed directly online, the BooksFly2U initiative was created as a solution for people who need physical books.

In addition to being sent to the home address, the community can also request that the borrowed book be sent to any PPAS library branch closest to their home to pick up themselves if they do not want to use the e-hailing service. Returning books can be done to the nearest library branch, or also using the "e-hailing" service.

Through the BooksFly2U service, library users only need to make a phone call to the number 011-5687 7760 and state the title of the book they wish to borrow. Next, the library staff will get the book within two days and arrange the delivery of the book using the e-hailing service of the user's choice.
