Perkhidmatan OPAC Ditutup Sementara
Sepanjang tempoh penaiktarafan Sistem Pengurusan Perpustakaan (LMS), perkhidmatan carian buku secara dalam talian (OPAC) akan ditutup sementara waktu bagi membolehkan proses migrasi data dan pemasangan sistem baharu dijalankan.
Pengguna tidak akan dapat membuat carian melalui OPAC dalam tempoh ini. Kami memohon maaf atas sebarang kesulitan dan akan memaklumkan sebaik sahaja perkhidmatan OPAC kembali beroperasi seperti biasa.
OPAC Service Temporarily Closed
During the Library Management System (LMS) upgrade period, the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) search service will be temporarily closed to allow for data migration and installation of the new system.
Users will not be able to search the catalog via OPAC during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience and will notify you once OPAC service is restored to normal.
- Library Books Catalog
Web OPAC is a web-based online catalog that is used to find books or materials in the library's collection by only knowing one of the books or materials in the list. The search will display details of information such as the call number or the position of the book on the library shelf, loan status and others.
The following guidelines are provided to assist the book search process in the OPAC:
Tips for Use of the OPAC Web Search Function :
- Step 1 : Users can search using the 'Browse Search’. Select a field through the list of options provided (Sort by) to narrow the scope of the search.
- Step 2 : Use 'Search Facet’ on the left side of the screen to facilitate searching based on format, location, year of publication and others.
- Step 3 : Expand the search by taking advantage of the 'Additional Terms’.
- Step 4 : Use the function 'Advanced Search’ to search more specifically based on several categories at one time.
