The Selangor Basic Technology Loan Scheme (SEPINTAS) is one of the initiatives of the Selangor state government through PPAS by providing FREE desktop and laptop LOAN service to people of Selangor especially to those who are in dire need (priority is given to the B40 group) in selected libraries under the management of PPAS. The loan process and concept is the same as the book loan process, but the loan period is longer, which is a maximum of 180 days.
This service is provided to provide the requirements for desktops and laptops that are getting higher due to the learning methods that have changed since the pandemic hit.
Loaned desktops and laptops are equipped with speakers, WIFI, webcams, Microsoft Office software and all the necessary equipment for online learning. In addition to learning, these devices can also be used by the whole family for the purpose of generating income online.
