About Dr Imran Alvi
Dr Imran Alvi (DPhil, MPhil, Oxon) is a trained economist and Chief Executive of Oxford Intellect, an Oxford-based institution focused on knowledge transfer. A graduate of the London School of Economics and Oxford University, Dr Alvi has over 15 years’ experience across the public, private and non-profit sectors.
He has built multi-million-pound social enterprises, delivered policy training worldwide, and supported impact initiatives from the UK Census Advisory Group to Quranic education projects. He brings together deep technical knowledge, a strong sense of purpose, and a commitment to practical impact.
